Spectacular 4th of July…

 

Synopsis:

The 4th of July forecast will be spectacular. Sunny skies, warm temperatures and low humidity is expected. The fine conditions will continue into the evening for the oooooohs and aaaaahhhs.

Tuesday will see any increase in humidity and temperature as a Southwest wind around high pressure develops. Showers and storms are possible later by evening and at night with an approaching front.

The humidity will drop on Wednesday and Thursday under plenty of sun as high pressure moves in.

Another push of humid air will arrive on Friday and a cool front will work into the region later in the day. Sun and clouds are expected with scattered shower and storms by late afternoon.

Scattered storms into early tonight have the capability of becoming severe.  Severe thunderstorms contain winds in excess of 58mph and or one inch hail, along with torrential rain and vivid and frequent cloud to ground lighting. Skies will become partly cloudy late.

Relief will arrive on Sunday as the front pushes offshore. Any morning clouds will give way to sunny skies. It’ll be much less humid.
