More Clouds Than Sun. Seasonal…

Synopsis:

The remnants of tropical system Sally will move from the Georgia to the Carolinas then off the Virginia coast on Friday. This will result in more clouds than sun today. It will be seasonal. The average high is 75º.

A shield of rain will work up and off the coast tonight as Sally moves Northeast. We are not expecting any significant weather from this system. A period of showers is possible along the coast.

On Friday, clouds will give way to sunshine. Strong high pressure located over the Great Lakes and Canada will supply the region with a shot of coolest airmass of the September so far. Sunny and unseasonably cool conditions are expected Friday afternoon through the weekend. Definitely a Fall preview. Autumn offically arrives on Tuesday.

Stay Tuned.
