High pressure will move to Eastern New England today. Clouds will dominate with a moisture laden flow off the Atlantic through midday. The sun will return this afternoon. Highs will pop into the 70s during the afternoon as the wind turns off the land.
Summer-like weather will make a comeback Wednesday as a bubble of hot air works in from the South and West around the area of offshore high pressure. Highs Wednesday will be well into the 80s to near 90º in some spots.
A season changer front will arrive by Thursday- Fall conditions will finally greet us for more than just a day. There will be areas of light rain with a front stalling just South of the region. Temperatures will be some twenty degrees colder than Wednesday. Below average readings will stick around through Friday. The average high is 69º. Fall will be in the air!
