Wet Mother’s Day…

Synopsis:

Unfortunately, Mother’s Day will be wet. Low pressure will continue to push to the coast and just to our South. On and off Rain will be with us throughout the day. To make matters worse it will be unseasonably cool with a gusty wind off the colder Atlantic. Highs will only be in the 40s to lower 50s but the wind chill will be near 40º- a raw day indeed. I am just the messenger!  I’d like to wish all the mom’s a Happy Mother’s Day!

The rain will taper off  this evening. Spotty drizzle or light rain is likely tonight and Monday morning. Another low develop over the Northeast midday Monday. Steadier rain will once again move in for the afternoon. The potential is there for one to two inches of rain through Monday. Flooding is a concern where the rain amounts are the highest.

Spotty showers are expected Tuesday as the upper level low moves through.

Wednesday will be the best day out of the bunch. We’ll dry out under partly sunny skies.

The shower threat returns Thursday. Yep, Spring in the Northeast.

Stay tuned.

Keep it here for a no nonsense, no hype forecast.
