Better Half of the Weekend is Today. Sunday NOT a Washout…

Synopsis:

High pressure will be in control through today. Skies will be mostly sunny after morning clouds move through. A warmer Southwest flow will result in readings reaching well into the 80s. The humidity will still be in check. A couple of disturbances in the upper atmosphere will spark scattered showers and storms late tonight and Sunday morning. Sunday will not be a washout. Any spotty morning storms will end with hazy sun returning. The second disturbance will move in during the afternoon with another round of scattered thunderstorms. It’ll hot and humid Sunday.

Monday should be storm-free. The three H’s will be with us.

A potent cool front will move toward the area on Tuesday with scattered thunderstorms. It’ll still be very warm and humid.

Relief will arrive by Wednesday as a refreshing airmass moves in from Canada.

Stay tuned.
