Pleasant Close to the Week. Wet Saturday. Better Mother’s Day…

Synopsis:

A ridge of high pressure will push down the Eastern Seaboard today. This will allow for more sunshine and a pleasant close to the week.

A storm will ride up the coast this weekend. It now looks, with the latest computer guidance, that Saturday will be the feature the steady and possibly heavy rain. One to two inches of rain is possible. Mother’s Day Sunday is looking more optimistic as the storm will continue to move Northeast. This will result in morning clouds and possibly some showers well east to give way to several hours of sun and clouds. An upper level disturbance will swing through later in the afternoon on Mother’s Day with scattered showers. To reiterate, the day will not be a washout and the sun will shine for a time!  Whew.

Stay tuned.
