Flood Watch Today Into Friday…

Synopsis:

On and off rain is on the way for today as a storm moves up the Appalachians. A Flood Watch has been posted for much of the tri-state area. The ground is saturated and rivers and streams are high. A half inch to two inches of rain is possible which could cause streams, creeks and possibly main stem rivers to overflow their banks. It won’t be raining all the time, but there will be occasional heavy rain. Strong winds are possible along the coast with gusts up to 45mph. The rain will taper off later in the afternoon and evening. The storm will slowly pull away Friday and allow for improving conditions for the weekend.

Stay Tuned.
