Mild Winter Days Ahead…

 

Synopsis:

The weather pattern will tranquil as high pressure will continue the main weather feature. A weak front will sweep through the region today with clouds and a few spotty showers of rain or snow this morning. The sun will return this afternoon. No major storms are on the horizon as we head into the Hanukkah and Christmas weekend. A period of light rain is expected Christmas Eve Day as a quickly moving system works through. Looking into the holiday week, next week- it looks to be uneventful; which for travelers, is a good thing.

Today:

Mainly cloudy this morning with a few stray showers, becoming mostly sunny this afternoon. Highs in the mid 40s.  Southwest to Northwest wind increasing to 10-20mph.

Tonight:

Mostly clear, breezy early.  Lows in the mid 30s in the City, the 20s  inland. Northwest wind at 15-25mph and diminishing late.

Friday:

Sunny. Highs in the mid 40s.

Saturday (Christmas Eve, Hanukkah begins):

A period light rain mixed with wet snow over the interior is possible from morning into the early afternoon (not a big deal) otherwise skies will be mostly cloudy. Highs in the lower to mid 40s.

Christmas Day:

Sunny. Highs in the mid 40s.

Monday:

Mostly sunny and continued mild with readings around 50º.
