Synopsis:.
The weekend will be bright and cold. Scattered flurries are possible today. Winds will add a bite as strong low pressure over Eastern Canada continues to influence our weather. Temperatures will fall to below average and remain just above freezing for daytime highs.
On Monday, low pressure will move from West to East across the Mid-Atlantic. Our region will be on the Northern edge of snow shield. The forecast is calling for some light snow. This doesn’t look to be a significant storm for most. The highest accumulations will be over Southern NJ. JMW’s first thoughts are above. This snow amount graphic will change as we get closer to the event.
The sun will return on Tuesday and Wednesday and the cold will remain. Low pressure over Eastern Canada and high pressure over mid-section of the country is the culprit behind the continuation of gusty winds.
Stay tuned.
