Synopsis:.
A weak disturbance moving to our South today will turn our sunny skies to mostly cloudy. Over Central and Southern NJ snow showers are possible later today. Readings will be near the seasonal averages of the upper 30s.
The weekend will be bright and cold. Winds will add a bite as strong low pressure over Eastern Canada continues to influence our weather. Temperatures will fall to below average and remain just above freezing for daytime highs.
On Monday, low pressure will move from West to East across the Mid-Atlantic. Our region will be on the Northern edge of snow shield. The forecast is calling for some light snow. This doesn’t look to be a significant storm. The highest accumulations will be over Southern NJ. JMW will continue to monitor trends for any Northern adjustment in the potential snow amounts.
The sun will return on Tuesday and the cold will remain.
Stay tuned.
