AM Showers Saturday. Balmy & Breezy. Record Warmth…

Synopsis:

As a warm front moves in tonight showers are possible late. Temperatures won’t be as cold as recent nights. In fact, readings will rise some before sunrise.

Saturday will be balmy as a deep Southerly flow develops ahead of an approaching cold front. Scattered showers are likely during the morning. A bit of sun is possible during the afternoon as the winds become gusty. Record warmth is likely. The record for Central Park is 64º set in 1879. A record that has stood for 142 years. This will most likely be broken as the forecast high is 66º. The front will move through during the evening hours with showers.

The sun will return for Sunday. We’ll come back down to reality. Temperatures will be tolerable for mid December.

Monday through Wednesday will feature abundant sunshine and milder readings as high pressure settles along the East coast.
