Muggy Fall Debut. Spotty Shower…

Synopsis:

As we turn the page to Autumn today (the Equinox occurs at 3:21PM) a cool front will be approaching. More clouds than sun is expected. It will be humid with a Southerly wind. Spotty showers will occur from time to time but much of the day will be dry.

The front will be a slow mover. Scattered showers are likely on Thursday. Again, there will be dry times. The heaviest and steadiest rain will occur Thursday night and early Friday morning. Local downpours may lead to the possibility of areas of flooding.

The front will push offshore Friday and the sun should return during the day.

The first weekend of fall looks delightful as high pressure over the Southeast results in seasonal sunshine both days.

Stay tuned.
