September Gem for Rosh Hashanah…

Synopsis:

High pressure over the East coast will result in sunshine and seasonal temperatures for Rosh Hashanah. Happy New Year to those that celebrate! The average high is in the upper 70s.

Wednesday will feature a mix of sun and clouds. Showers are possible later in the day as a cool front approaches. The rain may come down heavy for a time over parts of the region Wednesday night.

Morning showers are possible Thursday, otherwise a mix of sun and clouds is expected.

Friday and Saturday will be winners with mainly sunny skies as another high moves into the region. Both days will feature near seasonal temperatures.

Sunny. Highs around 80º. Northwest winds to South winds at 5-10mph.

Tonight:

Mostly clear.  Lows in the mid to upper 60s in the City, the upper 50s to around 60º inland. South winds under 5mph.

Wednesday:

Sun and clouds. Scattered afternoon showers. Highs around 80º.

Thursday:

A morning shower, otherwise clouds will give way to partly sunny skies. Highs in the upper 70s.

Friday:

Partly sunny. Highs in the mid to upper 70s.

Saturday :

Sunny. Highs in the upper 70s.
