Synopsis:

Upper level energy will swing through the region today. A mix of clouds and some sun is expected. Scattered rain and snow showers are possible just about anytime.

Skies will clear tonight. Readings will remain just above freezing in the City. Inland temperatures will fall into the upper 20s.

Quiet times will be with us for the rest of the week as another area of high pressure moves in. A mix of sun and clouds is expected. This will be a much deserved break from the recent snow and cold conditions. Readings will get near to above average by mid week. The average high is in the lower to mid 40s. Snowmelt will continue.

The next chance of precipitation is Saturday by this time showers are likely with readings above the seasonal averages of the lower to mid 4os.
