Warmer, More Humid Wednesday. Severe Weather Threat…

Synopsis:

A warm and humid airmass will be with us today. It will be uncomfortable, especially from the City and to the South. Temperatures will pop into the 80s. An impulse will head our way from the West later in the day. This will lead to a threat of afternoon storms. There is an enhanced risk of severe thunderstorms for much of the region. Severe thunderstorms have one of the following criteria: winds in excess of 58mph and or one inch hail. Keep an eye to the sky after 1pm.

The threat of scattered showers and storms will continue into early this evening, otherwise skies will be partly cloudy.

Readings will remain in the 80s through the end of the week with lower humidity. A mix of sun and clouds is expected as a stationary front will be draped over the area. There is a chance of a spotty shower but the majority of the time will be dry.

A cool front will approach Saturday it will be warm ahead of the front. Scattered showers possible under a partly cloudy sky but again most of the day will be dry.

Sunday will be more comfortable with plenty of sunshine as high pressure influences our area from the Northwest.

Stay Tuned.
