Decent Weekend. Clouds Rule Today. Temperatures Moderate…

Synopsis:.

The weather will cooperate this weekend. Strong high pressure will be over the Northeast. Clouds will dominate today as a result of moisture in the upper levels of the atmosphere. Moderating temperatures can be expected this weekend. Yes, we’ll be coming out of the freezer.

Today is the first day of Winter, which arrives at 11:19PM EST. This is the day with the shortest amount of daylight of the year.

Readings will finally rise above average by Sunday with abundant sunshine. The average high is 41º. Hanukkah begins at sundown on Sunday which is at 4:32PM.

Looking ahead into the holiday week. It will be milder than normal. The days leading into Christmas and Christmas day itself look tranquil and bright. Sorry snow lovers, maybe next year. High pressure will be extensive and keep the area storm-free.

Stay Tuned.
