Bitter Wind Chills This AM. Frigid Day Despite the Sunshine…

Synopsis:.

Today will be frigid, despite the sunshine. Highs will be well below freezing as cold high pressure moves toward the area. Wind chills will be near 0º in the morning. Thankfully, the winds will diminish during the day.

Friday will be bright and cold with readings near freezing.

The weather will cooperate this weekend. Strong high pressure will be over the Northeast. Abundant sunshine and moderating temperatures can be expected. Saturday is the first day of Winter, which arrives at 11:19PM EST. This is the day with the shortest amount of daylight of the year (oh joy).

Looking ahead into the holiday week. Hanukkah on Monday will be milder. The days leading into Christmas and Christmas day itself look tranquil and bright. Sorry snow lovers, maybe next year.

Stay Tuned.
