Drying Out. Sun Returns. Mild…

Synopsis:

The storm that gave the area a deluge last night is moving off Cape Cod. Weak high pressure over the Mid-Atlantic will supply the sun and mild readings to close the holiday weekend. The weather will cooperate for travelers returning home. A far cry from how the Thanksgiving weekend started- in the ice box.

Unfortunately more rain is on the way for Monday. Another low will move up the Atlantic Piedmont. Rain will move in during the mid to late morning hours. There could be a period of heavy rain later in the day. Something we don’t need after the 1″-3″ of rain that just fell.

The rest of the week will be storm-free and chilly as a persistent dry Northwest wind takes hold. Readings will be several degrees below the average high of 50º.

You know where to find a no hype, no nonsense forecast.

Stay tuned.
