Synopsis:

A storm will move up the coast and into the region later tonight. Steadier and heavier rain will work in later this afternoon and tonight. It will raw with a brisk wind off the ocean. Over an inch of rain is possible with the highest totals from the NYC vicinity and to the East.

The storm will slowly pull away on Wednesday. Spotty showers are likely.

The sun will return later in the week along with warmer temperatures.
