Synopsis:

Rain will fall this morning and taper off mid-day as a front works through. Late day sun is possible. The first night of Hanukkah will be dry with readings in the 40s. Christmas Day will be sunny and mild as high pressure dominates. Looking into the holiday week, next week- it looks to be uneventful; which for travelers, is a good thing. No major storms are on the horizon.  Spring-like readings will stick around through Tuesday. Colder air will push in late week.

Saturday (Christmas Eve, Hanukkah begins at sundown 4:33pm):

A period of rain is likely from morning into mid-day, otherwise some late day sun is possible. Highs in the 40s to around 50º. Southwest to Northwest winds at 8-12mph.

Tonight:

Clearing skies.  Lows in the mid to upper 30s in the City, the mid 20s inland. Northwest wind at 5-10mph.

Christmas Day:

Sunny. Highs in the mid to upper 40s.

Monday:

More clouds than sun, continued mild. Highs around 50º.

Tuesday:

Partly sunny and continued mild with highs in the lower 50s.

Wednesday:

Partly sunny and colder. Highs in the upper 30s.
