Autumn’s Finale a Quiet One. Winter Arrives Wednesday…

 

Synopsis:

Autumn’s finale will be a quiet one. Temperatures will get above freezing under abundant sunshine. High pressure will dominate our weather. Winter arrives tomorrow at 5:44AM EST, this is the exact time when the sun’s rays are over the Tropic of Capricorn. This is also the day where daylight is at it’s least.  A benign Winter day is expected.

The weather pattern will tranquil as high pressure will continue the main weather feature. No major storms are on the horizon as we head into the Hanukkah and Christmas weekend. The weather will cooperate for travel through the 25th.

Sunny with recovering temperatures. Highs in the mid 30s. Light and variable winds.

Tonight:

Clear and not as cold as recent nights.  Lows near 30 in the City, the teens inland. West wind at 5-10mph.

Wednesday:

Mostly sunny and milder.  Highs in the mid 40s.

Thursday:

Sun and clouds, breezy.   Highs in the mid 40s.

Friday:

Sunny. Highs in the mid 40s.

Saturday (Christmas Eve, Hanukkah begins):

Partly sunny. Highs in the mid 40s.
