Synopsis: 

High pressure off the New England coast will result in our fine August weather.  Plenty of sunshine, low humidity and tolerable temperatures are expected through Friday.  The heat and humidity returns on Saturday ahead of an approaching cool front.  Scattered storms are expected by afternoon.  It won’t be a washout.  Sunday will be the better half of the weekend with plenty of sunshine and lower humidity.

Today:

Sunny with highs in the lower 80s.  Humidity will be very low for August standards.  East Southeast  wind at 8-12mph.

Tonight:

Clear and comfortable.  Lows in the 60s, the upper 50s to 60s inland.  South wind less than 5mph.

Friday:

Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 80s.

Saturday:

Hazy, hot and humid with scattered afternoon storms.  Highs near 90º.

Sunday:

Mostly sunny and less humid with readings in the mid 80s.

Monday:

Sunny.  A top ten day.  Highs in the lower 80s.
