Synopsis:

High pressure over the Southeast will continue to pump up mild air through today. The map above depicts just how mild the nation is. All of the Arctic air is banked up in Canada. Skies will feature a decent amount of sunshine and light winds.

A warm front will approach tonight and Monday with Grey skies and areas of drizzle or showers.

On Tuesday, ahead of a  cold front, it will be mild with periods of rain.

More seasonal temperatures are expected for the later half of the workweek.

Looking down the pike no snowstorms are on the map at least through the next seven days.

Synopsis:

A low moving up and off the coast this morning will cause accumulating snow, just inland. A mix or even some rain exists along the coast, this will keep amounts much lower to virtually no accumulation (possible snow amounts above). This is a quick hitting system. The precipitation will taper off later this morning. The sun may make an appearance later in the day.

Seasonally cold conditions will be with us through the end of the week with the sun dominating.

High pressure will move off the Southeast coast during the weekend and bring up a mild airmass. Readings will be ten degrees above average.

Accumulating Snow for Many Tonight/Wed AM… Mix/Rain at Coast and to the East…

Synopsis:

A weak Alberta Clipper/front to the West will combine with a  low forming off the Mid-Atlantic coast tonight and Wednesday morning for an accumulating snow, just inland. The possibility of a mix or even some rain exists along the coast, this will keep amounts much lower to virtually no accumulation (possible snow amounts above). This is a quick hitting system that starts give or take a couple of hours of midnight and ends during the mid-morning hours. The sun may make an appearance later in the day Wednesday.

Seasonally cold conditions will be with us through the end of the week with the sun dominating.

High pressure will move off the Southeast coast during the weekend and bring up a mild airmass. Readings will be ten degrees above average.
