Bright, Breezy & Mild Monday…

Synopsis:.

The last Monday of the year will be bright, breezy and mild as weak high pressure along the Southeast coast influences our weather.

New Year’s Eve Day should be dry. Rain will develop just after sunset and continue to the strike of midnight as we ring in 2025. The 6 hour period of rain could be heavy at times. Yep, wet New Year’s Eve revelers.

New Year’s Day now looks to be dry. The front and low pressure system will move off the coast resulting in increasing sunshine. The winds will pick up behind the developing storm over New England. It’ll still be mild. Temperatures will still be a several degrees above average the average high of 40º.

More seasonable weather is expected for the first few days of January and into next weekend. Temperatures will actually be below average late in the period.

Stay tuned.
