Synopsis:
Periods of rain are likely today as the remnants of tropical system Isaias moves up the spine of the Appalachians. The on and off rain should continue into the night. At this time, it doesn’t look like a major event for our area concerning rainfall or high winds. Over an inch of rain is possible with gusty winds up to 35mph along the coast Sunday afternoon and evening.
The system should move out by sunrise Monday. Any clouds and will give way to sun.
A mix of sun and clouds is expected for Tuesday and Wednesday along with mild temperatures.
Cooler air will move in for Thursday under a bright sky.
Stay tuned.
