Scattered Showers Mainly North Thursday…

Synopsis:

Scattered showers are in the forecast today mainly over our Northern counties as a warm front and then cool front move through the region. Temperatures will be several degrees above average. You’ll notice an increase in humidity by the afternoon.

High pressure over Southeastern Canada will affect the region Friday into the weekend. Clouds and potential showers from the remnants of Hurricane Helene have the potential of reaching the region Friday and Saturday. It will be a battle between the dry air from the high pressure and moisture from Helene. We are not expecting any severe conditions in our area. Sunday will feature clouds giving way to more sun. Highs all three days temperatures will be near average.

Stay tuned.
