Cooler Sun Tuesday…

 

Synopsis:

Pleasant conditions are expected much of the upcoming week as high pressure dominates the Northeast. Readings will be within five degrees of the average highs of the mid 70s- fine May conditions!

The hazy look in the atmosphere is not haze, but smoke from the wildfires in Alberta Canada. Over two million acres have charred an area of twice the size of Long Island.

Looking down the pike; it looks like the Memorial Day Weekend will start off  bright and pleasant. Sunday and Memorial Day’s forecast depends on how an upper level low to our South evolves. JMW is being optimistic with the forecast at this time. Stay tuned…

Sunny. Highs around 70º. Much cooler at the coast. East to Southeast winds at 5-10mph.

Tonight:

Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 50s in the City, the 40s inland. Southeast to East winds less than 5mph.

Wednesday:

Mostly sunny. Spotty evening shower. Milder. Highs in the mid 70s. Cooler at the coast.

Thursday:

Sunny. Cooler. Highs in the upper 60s.

Friday:

Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 60s to around 70º.

Saturday:

Partly sunny. Highs in the lower to mid 70s.
