Clouds Win the Battle Sunday. Chilly…

Synopsis:

High pressure will dominate today. The high is a “dirty high” meaning the weather will be fair but the clouds will win the battle (most of the time we think of high pressure and sunny skies). It’ll be tranquil with temperatures below the average of 53º.

The workweek will start off grey. A weak low will develop off the coast Monday night into Tuesday morning. A few rain or snow showers are possible. There is a slim chance at this time, that the snow inland could be a bit steadier early Tuesday morning. I’ll continue to monitor the trends.

Getaway Wednesday be bright and chilly. An Arctic front will move through Wednesday night. This will allow the coldest airmass of the season to pour in from Canada on Thanksgiving. Highs on Thursday may remain in the upper 20s. If the temperature dips to 23º at any point during Thursday; it’ll be go down as the top five coldest Thanksgivings on record! At least the sun will shine.

Black Friday will be cold under partly sunny skies.
