Spectacular July Weekend…

Synopsis:

After days of heat and humidity this weekend will feel like a new season. A refreshing airmass from Canada courtesy of high pressure will take hold through Sunday. Abundant sunshine, cooler temperatures and very low humidity will be the story.

The heat will return for the beginning of the week as high pressure moves off the coast and a Southwest flow develops.

A cool front will move through Wednesday. This is good news as another heatwave will not be in our near future.

Tropical Depression #3 has formed off the North Carolina coast. It is possible that it’ll become Tropical Storm Chris in the near future. At this time, the system looks to stay off the coast and eventually move to the Northeast out to sea during the upcoming week.

Stay tuned.

Today:
