Periods of Rain Later Today and Tonight From NYC Vicinity & South….

Synopsis:

An area of steadier and heavier rain will work into parts of the NYC Vicinity and NJ later this afternoon into Tonight as an areas of low pressure along a stationary front moves through. The heaviest rain will be over Southern areas. Areas to the North will remain dry.

Early morning rain South of the City Monday morning otherwise becoming mostly sunny. It’ll be pleasant with readings several degrees below the average of 78º.

The workweek looks tranquil. High pressure will take control for the early part of the week. A weak front will move in Wednesday with a spot shower, otherwise the remainder of the week will be dry.

Tonight:

Periods of rain from the NYC vicinity and to the South. The steadiest and heaviest rain will be over Central and Southern NJ. Lows in the upper 50s in City, the lower to mid 50s inland.  Northeast winds less than 5mph.

Monday:

Early morning rain to the South otherwise becoming mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 70s. Northeast to East winds at 10-15mph.

Tuesday:

Sunny. Highs in the mid 70s.

Wednesday:

Partly sunny. A spot shower is possible. Highs in the lower 80s.

Thursday:

Partly sunny. Highs in the lower to mid 80s.

Friday:

Partly sunny. Highs around 80º.
