Another Round of Rain Today. Much Cooler…

Synopsis:

Today will be much cooler with cloudy skies. A cool front has stalled just to our South allowing an area of rain to work in. Rain will develop later this morning and continue into the night. Readings will be twenty five degrees cooler than yesterday-remaining in the lower 60s.

A bit of sun may shine on Thursday but the threat of showers remains, especially in the morning.

The stationary front that has been plaguing the region all week will become a warm front and move toward the area on Friday. The ingredients are there for the potential of more heavy rain and thunderstorms. Flooding will be of concern.

At this time the weekend looks unsettled with showers and thunderstorms on Saturday and a slight chance on Sunday. Sunday looks to be the drier of the two days at this time.

Stay tuned.
