Fog to Sun Today. Showers Hold Off Until Evening. Chilly Sunday…

 

Synopsis:

Low clouds and fog will burn off this morning and the sun will return for a decent Saturday. It looks as though the afternoon will now be dry as the approaching cold front has slowed down. It’ll be mild with readings a few degrees above average. A decent day is on the way! Showers will move in this evening and stick around tonight as the front moves through. Sunday will be the cooler half of the weekend as a cold pool of air settles over the Northeast. Under mix of clouds and sun readings will only be in the mid 50s. The average high this time of the year is in the mid 60s.

The upper level low will stall over the area on Monday resulting in fall-like readings and a spotty afternoon showers.

A DRAMATIC change in the weather will occur on Tuesday as the low pulls away and high pressure builds over the Southeast. Temperatures will soar will into the 70’s for May’s debut. A Summer preview will greet us by mid to late week. Highs may approach 90º by Thursday.
