Cloudy. Sct’d Snow Showers Inland. Accumulating Snow for Many Tonight.

Synopsis:

The thinking has not changed since yesterday about snowfall amounts.

A weak Alberta Clipper will approach the area today with scattered snow showers, most likely later in the day and to the North and West. A secondary low will form off the North Carolina coast on tonight and Wednesday morning. This weak storm will be close enough for an accumulating snow, mainly inland (possible snow amounts above) tonight and Wednesday morning. The possibility of a mix or even some rain exists along the coast, this will keep amounts much lower.

Seasonally cold conditions will be with us through the end of the week.

Stay tuned.
