Late September Hot Spell is Over. Much Less Humid Today…

Synopsis:

It’s been days of temperatures in the 80’s and 90’s with high humidity. Our Summer in late September will be coming to an end today. A cool front moved through the area early this morning. This will drop the humidity drastically by mid to late morning and you’ll immediately notice the difference. Highs today will still be several degrees above average.. The average high is 71º.

Tonight a true push of Canadian air will work in as high pressure well to the West and Maria well off the coast result in a Northwesterly flow. The AC will finally get a well deserved break and there will even be a nip in the air North and West overnight. Temperatures finally will be seasonal for Friday.  It’ll be a nice change for many.

Fall conditions will be with us this weekend as high pressure works toward the Northeast. The sun will dominate with readings a few degrees below average for a change. A spot shower can’t be ruled out on Saturday-most areas will remain rain-free.
