Finally the Heat & Humidity Loosen It’s Grip. Much Less Humid Tomorrow…

Synopsis:

It’s been days of temperatures in the 80’s and 90’s with high humidity. Our Summer in late September will be coming to an end later tonight. A cool front will move through the region in the wee hours of the morning Thursday. This will drop the humidity drastically by sunrise and you’ll immediately notice the difference. Highs on Thursday will still be several degrees above average, getting into the upper 70s. The average high is 71º.

On Friday a true push of Canadian air will work in as high pressure well to the West and Maria well off the coast result in a Northwesterly flow. Temperatures finally will be seasonal.  It’ll be a nice change for many.

Fall conditions will be with us this weekend as high pressure works toward the Northeast. The sun will dominate with readings a few degrees below average for a change. A spot shower can’t be ruled out on Saturday-most areas will remain rain-free.

Tonight:

Partly cloudy and mild.  Lows in the mid to upper 60s in the City, the lower 60s inland. North winds increasing to 10-15mph late.

Thursday:

Mostly sunny, not as warm and much less humid. Breezy. Highs in the upper 70s. North to Northwest winds at 15-25mph.

Friday:

Mostly sunny and cooler. Highs around 70º.

Saturday:

Partly sunny and cool. A stray afternoon shower is possible. Highs in the upper 60s.

Sunday:

Sunny & seasonal.  Highs in the upper 60s to around 70º.

Keep it here for a no nonsense, no hype forecast.
