Synopsis:
A fine mid-August weekend is on the way. Today will feature a mix of sun and clouds as drier air works in from the Northwest. You’ll notice a significant drop in the humidity by mid-day and afternoon. Sunday will be spectacular with abundant sunshine and low humidity as high pressure dominates the East coast. Both days will be very warm.
Weather should not be an issue for viewing the solar eclipse Monday as the area of high pressure continues to hold. Hopefully any clouds will be few and far between. Please use caution if you are planning on looking at the eclipse.
The next threat of showers will be with a cool front on Wednesday.
Stay Tuned.
