Heat, Humidity & Storm Threat Through the Week…

Synopsis:

Two systems will influence our weather this week. High pressure in the Western Atlantic will pump up a very warm and tropical airmass. At the same time a front to our North will bump up against the heat. This will cause spotty showers and storms each afternoon and evening.  By Friday, the front will slip to the South, cooling us off considerably but showers and thunderstorms remain in the forecast.

Stay tuned.

Today:

Tonight:

Partly cloudy. Muggy. An isolated shower or storm. Lows in the mid 70s in the City. The upper 60s inland. West to Southwest wind 5-10mph.

Wednesday:

Partly sunny. Humid. A stray afternoon storm is possible. Highs in the upper 80s.
