Synopsis:
Winter-like temperatures will be with us into tonight as cold high pressure moves in from Canada. It’ll be frigid Spring Night with lows in the teens to lower 20s. Gusty winds up to 30mph early tonight will diminish late. Wind chills will be in the single digits and teens.
Strong high pressure will be overhead on Thursday. Abundant sunshine and chilly readings are expected but it won’t as harsh.
A slow moderation in temperature will occur by the end of the week.
The weekend will feature a 50/50 split with Saturday being the better of the two days. Under partly sunny skies highs will pop into the 60s on Saturday on a Southwest wind. On Sunday a stationary front will be to our South with on and off showers. The latest computer guidance suggests not a lot of rain will fall. In fact some breaks of sun are possible. The wind will be off the cold Atlantic keeping readings only in the 40s.
