Low pressure will work off the New England coast today. The sun will return on gusty Northwest winds and cool temperatures. The map above shows the cool readings in the Northeast with much warmer readings over the mid-section of the country. A piece of that warmth will head our way for the weekend. Tranquil, mild conditions will be with us for the last weekend of October. Halloween will be sunny and cool.

Tonight:
Mostly clear and chilly. Lows in the mid 40s in the City, near freezing well inland. Northwest wind will diminish to 5-10mph.
Saturday:
Partly sunny and mild with readings in the mid 60s.
Sunday:
Sun will give way to afternoon clouds. A few showers are possible. Highs once again will be in the mid 60s.
Halloween:
Sunny and cool. Highs in the mid 50s.
Tuesday:
Mostly sunny and seasonal. Highs around 60º.
