Synopsis:

Temperatures will begin their downward trend. The combination of a front to our South and the flow off the ocean will result in any sun giving way to thickening clouds today. A spot shower is possible later in the day. Readings will be near the seasonal averages of around 70º, not the mid 80s of yesterday.

Showers are likely tonight as a low consolidates to our South.

Friday will be raw with on and off rain. Temperatures will only be in the mid 50s.

By Saturday, enough drier air will work in from the West to allow for a mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures will be several degrees below average.

The Mother’s Day forecast is an unsettled one. Another weak low will move through the region from the West. Scattered showers are in the forecast.

The sun will return for the start of the workweek and it’ll be pleasant.
