Synopsis:

Patchy fog will burn off this morning. Clouds will break for some sun. You’ll notice an increase in humidity. A warm front will approach with scattered storms. Some of the storms maybe strong to isolated severe. The time frame looks to be late morning through mid-afternoon. Many areas will be storm-free today.

The scattered severe storm threat will continue into Saturday. It will not be a washout. Scattered storms are possible for the first half of the day with a trough of low pressure. Hazy sun is expected before the next threat arrives mid-afternoon on with an approaching cool front. Readings will be warmer.

Sunday will be the better half of the weekend. It’ll be breezy and mild with readings in the mid 70s under partly sunny skies.

Monday and Tuesday will feature mainly sunny skies and near seasonal readings. The average high is in the lower 70s. High pressure over Eastern Canada will nose into the region and will be responsible for our pleasant conditions.

Morning rain on Wednesday will give way to scattered showers as the low meanders over the region.

The chance of showers and spotty storms will still be in the forecast for Thursday through Saturday, but the majority of the time will be dry. A weak trough of low pressure will remain over the region. A mix of clouds and some sun is anticipated. Thursday’s readings will be near average for this time of the year. Friday and Saturday will be much warmer as a Southwest wind blows.

Low pressure to our West combined with a moisture laden flow from the South will continue to result in scattered showers today. Local downpours are possible. Seasonable readings of the upper 60s are expected.

On Wednesday the pattern will begin to break down. Scattered showers are possible but we should also get to see some sun. Temperatures will be near to just above average.

Thursday will be the pick day of the next five with morning sun giving way to afternoon clouds. This will be short-lived though as low pressure will begin to develop to our South and re-introduce the chance of rain Thursday evening into Friday.

The low should clear the coast Saturday morning. Any clouds will give way to some afternoon sun.
