Synopsis:

It’ll be a top ten day. Plenty of sunshine with low humidity will make for a fine Friday as high pressure influences our area from the North and West.

The weekend looks decent. Saturday will feature clouds from time to time. An isolated shower is possible but most areas will be dry. Sunday will be the brighter of the two days. Readings will be near the seasonable averages of the mid 80s.

The humidity will creep back up on Monday as the Bermuda high starts influencing our weather. The chance of scattered afternoon storms will be introduced on Tuesday. Most of the day will be dry under partly sunny skies.

Friday:

Tonight:

Mostly clear and comfortable.  Lows in the upper 60s in urban areas, the 50s & 60s inland. Southwest wind at 5 mph.

Saturday:

Partly sunny. An isolated shower in spots. Highs in the mid 80s.

Sunday:

Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 80s.

Monday:

Partly sunny. More humid. Highs in the upper 80s.

Tuesday:

Partly sunny. An isolated PM storm possible. Highs in the mid 80s.

Synopsis:

Relief from the heat and humidity has arrived courtesy of high pressure to our North and West. Readings will be near average (the mid 80s) and humidity levels will be much lower. Clouds will eventually give way to sunshine today.

The fine July conditions will continue though the weekend. Abundant sunshine is expected.

The humidity will creep back up on Monday as the Bermuda high starts influencing our weather.

Synopsis:

A Western Atlantic high (Bermuda High) will continue to influence our area. This setup will result in high temperatures and humidity. Intense heat is likely through Wednesday. The heat index will approach 110º in some regions. This will become is our third heatwave of the season. The only relief will be along the immediate coast. The threat of thunderstorms is there for both days. The risk is for later in the afternoon and evening. Some of the storms maybe strong to severe. Keep an eye to the sky for threatening weather.

Relief from the heat and humidity will arrive on Thursday with an early morning cool frontal passage. Readings will be near average (the mid 80s) and humidity levels will be much lower. The fine July conditions will continue Friday and Saturday.

Please remember to check on the pets and elderly during this hot stretch. Drink plenty of fluids and try to stay out of the direct sun between 10am-4pm. Wear light weight, light colored clothing.

Synopsis:

A tropical flow combined with a weakening stationary front over the region will result in areas of morning rain. Some of the rain will be heavy. The good news is the system will washout out and exit the area during the afternoon. The sun will make a visit. Temperatures will be seasonable. The average high temperature is in the mid 80s.

Sunday will be the better half of the weekend with mainly sunny skies. The Western Atlantic high will continue to influence our area. This setup will cause temperatures and humidity levels to once again become quite uncomfortable. The 90s will once again greet us. Intense heat is likely Tuesday and Wednesday. The heat index will approach 110º in some regions.

The thunderstorm threat will be Monday and Wednesday afternoon (scattered in nature).

Synopsis:

Saturday will be a steam bath. High temperatures along with high humidity will result in very uncomfortable conditions. The heat index will range from 98º- 110º. Please drink plenty of fluids, take frequent breaks if your outside and stay out of the sun when possible. A spot  storm is possible but most of the area will be dry.

This tropical pattern will continue on Sunday but it won’t be as humid as Saturday. Readings will once again crack 90º.

The beginning of next week won’t be as brutal. The Southerly flow around a Western Atlantic high will continue keeping us very warm and moderately humid. It’ll be hazy with a spot storm possible late day on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Synopsis:

July’s debut will be a gem! High pressure to our North and West will move over the region the first few days of the month. This will result in comfortable conditions with readings a few degrees below the average high of the mid 80s. Humidity levels will be quite low.

Wednesday will be more seasonable. An increase in heat and humidity is expected for the 4th of July as high pressure slips offshore and becomes a heat pump. The 3 H’s will be with us for Friday. Spotty storms are possible later in the day.

Synopsis:

There are two main weather stories for Sunday: Very humid conditions and the threat for scattered severe storms later today. A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for the entire area until 7pm. As a cool front approaches later today scattered showers and storms will develop after 3pm. Some of the storms may turn severe with strong winds, hail and torrential rain. The tri-state area is in an enhanced risk of severe thunderstorms.  Keep an eye to the sky for threatening weather after 3PM. A tropical airmass is over the region due to the Southwest flow around a Bermuda high. It’ll be uncomfortable.

We will be rewarded once the front passes. A couple of gems are on the way for Monday and Tuesday as high pressure builds into the region from the North and West. Temperatures will be below the average high of the mid 80s. The sun will dominate both days. What a start to the month of July!

Wednesday will be more seasonable and by the 4th of July it’ll be hot and humid. At this time JMW is keep this timeframe storm free.

High pressure to our North will result in a fine finish to the week. Abundant sunshine with readings below average (average high is 84º) are expected. It will be a delightful Friday.

The weekend will be half way decent. The humidity will increase on Saturday with the flow around a departing Atlantic high. Readings will be near seasonable levels under a mix of clouds and sun. A cool front will slowly approach the region and stall near the area on Saturday night and Sunday. Scattered showers and storms are possible Saturday night. Ahead of the front on Sunday it’ll be hazy, hot and humid. Scattered thunderstorms are possible just about anytime. It will not be a washout.

A couple of gems are on the way for Monday and Tuesday as high pressure builds into the region from the West. Temperatures will be near average. The sun will dominate both days.

Synopsis:

The break in the heat will be short-lived as high pressure moves offshore today and Wednesday. This will allow a bubble of heat to work in. Tuesday will not be humid; it will be a dry heat accompanied by abundant sunshine. Wednesday will be a different story with rising humidity levels and hazy skies. Showers and storms are likely with an approaching cool front later Wednesday. More comfortable air will work in from the North behind the front for Thursday and Friday.

The weather should cooperate for the beginning of the weekend.
