Synopsis:
Today will be spectacular with abundant sunshine and low humidity as high pressure dominates the East coast. It’ll warm with low humidity.
Weather should not be an issue for viewing the solar eclipse Monday as that area of high pressure continues to hold. Hopefully any clouds will be few and far between. Please use caution if you are planning on looking at the eclipse. The eclipse will begin around 1pm and end around 4pm. The peak will be 2:45pm. At that time 70%-75% of the sun will be darkened.
The humidity will return Tuesday ahead of a cool front.
The next threat of showers and storms will be Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
A September-like airmass will greet the Northeast by late week.
Stay Tuned.
