Synopsis:
A spot shower is possible early this morning, otherwise, skies will be partly sunny. It’ll be mild behind strengthening low pressure over the Canadian Maritimes. Winds will increase dramatically by mid to late afternoon. Gusts between 40-50mph are possible. The winds will remain strong into the night.
On Friday and through the weekend temperatures will be more seasonable with high pressure nosing in from the Plains. A persistent Northwest wind will be with us. A mix of sun and clouds is expected through the period.
We “Spring Ahead” this weekend. Daylight Saving Time begins on Sunday at 2am. Set your clocks ahead one hour. We lose an hour of sleep but gain an hour of daylight Sunday evening! It’s also a good reminder to change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
A mild trend will begin on Monday.
Stay tuned.
