Downpours Late Day Wednesday…

Synopsis:

Today will feature a deep Southerly flow ahead of an approaching cold front. Much of the morning and afternoon should be dry. A few renegade showers are possible . Rain will develop between 4-7pm from West to East and become heavy at times. It’ll be breezy and balmy with highs well into the 50s. Winds will become strong and gust up to 40mph by the evening commute. Use caution during this time frame as local street flooding is possible. The rain will taper off by the late evening. Up to an inch of rain is possible.

Behind the front on Thursday the sun will return. Readings will still be above average.

On Friday and through the weekend temperatures will be more seasonable as high pressure moves overhead. A mix of sun and clouds is expected through the period.
