Synopsis:
A weekend rollercoaster ride in temperatures is on the way. Ahead of a cool front today it will be mild under a mix of sun and clouds. Readings will be above average for March’s debut. The average high is in the mid 40s, we’ll be about ten degrees above that. Temperatures will begin to drop during the mid-afternoon behind the cold front. Winds will pick up as a cold front approaches and moves through. Gusts up to 35mph will be common. The colder half of the weekend will be Sunday. Canadian air will funnel in with high pressure to our West. March will live up to its fickle reputation with readings going almost ten degrees below average for the high. It will be twenty degrees colder than Saturday.
The week will start off chilly and bright on Monday as high pressure settles over the tri-state. A milder push is expected for Tuesday with readings just above seasonal averages. Skies will be mainly sunny.
Wednesday will feature a deep Southerly flow ahead of an approaching cold front. On and off rain is expected. It’ll be breezy and balmy with highs near 60º.
Stay tuned.
