Frigid Sun Tuesday…

Synopsis:.

A polar vortex over Southeastern Canada along with strong high pressure over the East will be responsible for our plunge in temperatures through midweek.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be frigid with highs in the upper teens to around 20º. Lows inland will be near oº.

Thursday we’ll still be in the freezer under partly sunny skies.

By Friday we should crack freezing under mainly sunny skies. Saturday will feature more of the same-sunshine and below average temperatures. The average high is in the upper 30s.

Stay tuned.
