Rainy, Windy, Balmy Wednesday…

Synopsis:.

Low pressure developing along a stalled front over our area will be responsible for periods of heavy rain, strong winds and balmy conditions today. There will be a Spring-feel. The potential is there for one to three inches of rain with the jackpot zone being East of the City.

Flooding of poor drainage areas is possible. Winds will be strongest along the coast and out to the East. A few power outages are possible along with downed trees. Wind gusts up to 60mph will be common in the High Wind Warning area.

The storm will move East of the region this evening with the rain ending from West to East. Winds will switch to the West and be strong overnight.

Behind this system on Thursday and Friday it’ll be colder with mainly sunny skies.

Saturday and Sunday won’t be as harsh as the cold high moves off the New England coast. Fair conditions are expected.

Stay tuned.
