Transition Day to Cooler…Winds Pickup Aftn…

Synopsis:

Today will be the transition day from the warm readings of the weekend to much cooler temperatures.  A cold front will move through the region this afternoon moisture starved. A spot shower can’t be ruled out. Temperatures will reach the lower to mid 60s early this afternoon then drop to the lower 50s by dinnertime as the colder air pours in. Winds usher in the colder airmass and become gusty later in the day.

Midweek will be chilly and blustery. Winds will be busy out of the Northwest creating a definite nip in the air.

Readings will recover to seasonable levels by Friday as the cold high modifies and becomes a mild weather maker by the weekend.

Stay tuned.
