Hazy, Hot, Humid Friday. PM Storms…

Synopsis:

A Summer preview will greet the region through Friday as a Southwesterly flow dominates around a Western Atlantic high. Skies will remain mostly sunny with haze and humidity building on Friday. Showers and storms are possible Friday afternoon and evening with an approaching cool front.

The weekend looks fantastic. Strong high pressure will move into the region with abundant sunshine. It’ll be warm with much lower humidity right through Father’s Day Sunday.

The most comfortable day of the upcoming workweek will be Monday. A heat wave will most likely start on Tuesday (readings of 90º or higher) and continue through the week. Extensive high pressure both at the surface and aloft will dominate our area through the coming days.

Stay tuned.
