Synopsis:

Skies will finally be bright today. Offshore weak low pressure will move toward New England. Morning rain will end over Eastern Long Island, otherwise skies will be become mostly sunny. Readings will be a couple degrees lower than the average high of the mid 80s.

This will be the beginning of a nice stretch. Friday through the weekend looks warm and sunny as a more typical pattern for August begins to setup as high pressure builds along the East coast. Humidity levels will increase later in the weekend. Summer will have returned!
